So wildcats, who would have thought that when we walked into the gym today, that we would be entering the funeral for Kentucky State University (KSU)? A hilarious entry from some faculty, staff and students with a casket behind them representing KSU got the crowd off their feet.
The crowd became more lively when Michael Jackson (played by President Rivers) entered the building to perform his hit Thriller. Michael Jackson was not the only celebrity in the building for this “Valley Reunion” there were artist like George Clinton, The Supremes, Ike and Tina Turner, and Keith Sweat just to name a few.
With the cheerleaders on the sideline cheering, the dancers dancing and the band playing, the kickoff came to an end with everyone saying the alma mater.
